I started the seeds. I tended to them with love and water. I transplanted them to pots and now some have gone into the garden!
I've got lettuce, tomato, cucumber, broccoli, celery, cauliflower. I have just started the melons and I still need to get my ass in gear with the beans, but they grow fast so I'm not overly concerned about them.
This post was actually started as a spring post but then a few days ago it just instantly jumped to summer weather. Here in Canada, we have all four seasons but spring and fall can be particularly short sometimes. Hell, we've had short as fuck summers before too. We had a few weeks of maybe around 5c temperatures and them BOOM it's like 30c every day for the past 4 days!
We had snow last week so I was hesitant to put anything in the garden that wasn't frost tolerant. Now I'm worried the cold season veggies won't grow because it's too damn hot! It kind of sucks that we didn't get that comfortably warm 10c - 15c weather and went straight to blazing hot. No stopping at go, no collecting $200....
In other news, I had written some bits and bytes when the pandemic began. I'm thinking of putting them together for a post. I also began streaming on Mixer recently so feel free to come see me there. I also took a leap and signed up for IG...
