It's been a while since I posted here but that doesn't mean anything lol It's winter and so of course the daydreaming is constant. So here's PART 1 and PART 2
So I've been challenged with the question of "what" this idea is really... Is it a campground? You want to own property with other people?
I figure we can rent out space, AirBNB style, so in a way it might be considered different things to different people. Cute ass little cabins on a river, secluded from society just enough to not have the light pollution but close enough to run to get something when needed.
We could hold classes on gardening or other useful skills to share the knowledge with people and earn a little extra. There are so many opportunities!
Thinking about the possibilities of owning something with multiple other people is a little scary. You need people you can trust. First I thought you buy it together but then I started thinking that one person could buy it and rent to the others. THEN I thought that well, it could be severed into neat little rectangles so people actually get to OWN their own shit. With an agreement that we work the land together but you own this actual chunk.
This is all because we are all broke-asses and the market prices have just gone through the fucking roof lately that owning anything seems so fucking unattainable. Buying land is so much cheaper, and everyone doesn't have to move in right away, some people maybe want to build a cottage first and not move for another 10 or 20 years. The flexibility is there. That way you have the people you want, the space you want and not some stranger. When it comes time to sell someone's part in the land the agreement must be that it's sold to another like-minded individual or something.
